RETFARMER is a social enterprise empowering smallholder farmers in Burundi, DRC, and Rwanda through an AI-powered mobile app. The app features plant disease detection, soil analysis, a multilingual chatbot for farming advice, a weather forecast tool, and a digital marketplace. Our team includes agronomists, developers, and cooperative leaders. We train “Agrileads”—local farmer champions who relay knowledge to peers—ensuring wide adoption. By blending tech, sustainable practices, and grassroots leadership, RETFARMER boosts yields, soil health, and climate resilience across the region.
